I caught the Popper Project last night in SF , and I must say...
POPPER IS BACK!

It was pretty much the best thing to happen to San Francisco in a long time.
CITY music in a CITY!
None of that country hippie dippie raver funk in the City (which I love by the way),
But ROCK n FREAKIN ROLL!

His lyrics are still poignant, Tad on his 6 string is off the hook.
They had a fiddler sit in and the licks traded between Popper and fiddle guy
were flawless. At points they traded solos in perfect tone.
This drummer guy, form Mosaic, OFF THE HOOK.
DJ Logic is a perfect addition. Knowing when to rock it out and when to do the subtle jazz thing and when to just make us move something! EVERYTHING!

YES, Popper is back. even though he never left.
and You MUST SEE THIS BAND
